Little kids..
I am amazed it took this long. Tinker Bell was huge with all the little girls when my kid was in elementary school. I was surprised by hugely popular the character was.
For what it is worth Mad Men takes off after S1, you kind of have to get through S1.
Season 2 has been great so far.
Second the advice to go in blind. Season 1 was a little slow in the middle but we’ll worth it
Reposting myself from !piefed_meta@piefed.social
I checked out this community from lemmy.world and found that it has half of the subscribers it has as viewed on piefed.social (3.6k vs. 1.7k). Something happened. On closer investigation, it seems that a bug, a federation bug or a piefed.social bug - not sure - has essentially cut half of television’s subscribers in half, for some reason. There seems to be no pattern. I had to resubscribe on my own alt, which was what tipped me off that something was off.

I watched the first three episodes of it, starting yesterday, and I’m loving it so far.
Looks pretty good here’s the trailer:
You know what doesn‘t disclose your viewing habits with third parties because it doesn‘t even require you to have an account to watch streams? Aye.
You answered it yourself. When hasn’t Amazon tried to eliminate competition?
Disney Star Wars was pretty much doomed the moment they decided to make a trilogy without having any plan for a trilogy.
They were initially able to mask that fact with early financial success that was based entirely on the strength of the brand that they purchased, and not their creative output.
The only real exception was The Mandalorian season 1, which I think primarily speaks to the talent of Jon Favreau, but Baby Yoda doomed that show with its massive merchandising success.
Maybe making a show about a crime lord that doesn’t do crimes wasn’t a good idea
