I see it a bit different:

Anime to Live Action is like book to movie for me: the difference is so big that it might be a huge boon or an utter waste of time. It won’t spoil the original on any way and perhaps something else arises that I also enjoy.

Shinichiro Watanabe is involved, so it might be awesome. It’s at least not guaranteed to be terrible.

The last show we got from Watanabe was Lazarus and it sucked. So I have little hope for this.

I’m glad it wasn’t just me. Huge fan of his classics all the way to Kids on the Slope. Couldn’t make it thru 2 episodes of Lazarus.
