I have been living off Amazon prime trials for about past 7 years now.
They added ads to my tier when I was halfway through Fallout when it first came out and I was so pissed I canceled it immediately. Downloaded uBlock Origin to finish the season and haven’t given Amazon a dime ever since.
Ive been sailing the high seas for even longer.

They are charging me more, adding nothing that benefits me, and their content is generally pretty mid. Plus navigating the UI is a minefield of addons. Watch this… with this extra subscription, or this but you need this subscription.

Shouldn’t matter when the shipping address and attached payment card is the same on each account…
The “Prime” tab near the far right does that.
It also shows you how lame their content is overall. I got Prime for a year for $15 total and I wouldn’t pay a penny more.

we’re talking about re-using (abusing) the newjoiner Amazon Prime deal by creating new accounts. Except Amazon has to know your name, address, and payment method to be able to ship shit to you.
And based on that it’s incredibly easy to find abusers and ban them.
Free media access does fuck-all for this.
Choking themselves out the same way cable tv did, ads+sub is extreme greed and pushes people to piracy as they try to squeeze every penny out of their viewers.
I’m talking actual Amazon prime 30day trials..high sails been up for about 25 years now. I don’t count Amazon trials as high sails tho, since they just offer it themselves, I just seem to figured how to abuse it..same account too.
I could share, but that would most likely make them to patch it..it’s the same account for years, no need to make a new account too. If there is one thing I learned in life, if you want something nice to last, keep it to yourself.
