How is the code for Claude not protected by copyright?
Anthropic said that Claude is written by Claude. When you look at the code it’s quite obvious because it’s so shit. US courts have already passed multiple rulings stating that LLM output is not copyrightable and US Supreme Court said they’re not going to rule on this.
„AI” industry is in a catch 22 of their own making.
Huh, didn’t know they made that claim. That was pretty stupid. Sounds impressive but now they have to defend it and by doing so invalidate their claim to copyrights.
Someone should track the own goals by these AI companies. I want to know the score.
I knew of this claim but I didn’t believe it until I’ve seen parts of this code. It’s either written by a 13 year old script kiddie or LLM, probably both.
