? What went wrong? I have finished season 2, and there were some minor issues but nothing major that I noticed. Only “major” thing is a retcon, but it’s possible that that is how events played out.

Yup. Some people for some reason want the exact same story, same beats, same everything. All details and lore must be PERFECT or else it’s a travesty and the creators need to be kicked to the curb!!
I think they did pretty darn well. What are your actual criticisms?
I was told the series was supposed to be cannon with the game, but how can that be when no one’s talking about the orbital death laser that goes off every day? And what ever happened to Fisto? It’s these little details that really pull you out of the show.
And some people just like to complain and would find a reason to pick it apart even if it was absolutely perfect
