Anybody watched the Chinese adaption of the first book?
Apart from a little sillyness, a handful of state propaganda and some obvious censoring, I was positively surprised and watched it till the end.
I watched a good amount of it and then got confused lol. I remember thinking the pool table shots were pretty neat.
l had read the book. The series is almost a 1:1 adaption, so I knew where it was going.
Can imagine it to be confussing without that knowledge.
Oh shit I just finished this yesterday.
Just keep going until we have a single episode every 3-4 years!
First half of the episode is released Presidents Day, 2029. Next quarter of an episode released Arbor Day 2035. Last quarter of an episode released 10/24/2077!
I’m excited to see how they adapt the second and third book. Every time the humans’ awareness about the universe jumps an order of magnitude, so does the feeling of despair and dread. It’s like On The Beach on a cosmological scale
Big shocker that a big company is cutting costs. If they are longer episodes, then I retract this statement.
