@julian Ahh, thanks Julian! That makes sense. That’s pretty much the same guidance I got from Claude and ChatGPT too. If I go for Apple at some point, I won’t be able to just wrap the site and call it a day. I’d need to build out more native functionality, and I’m not going to pretend I fully understand that path yet haha.

@julian Also I didn't answer the question fully. I'm doing this in phases. I started with PWA as this is all still very early, and I am trying to prove people want to use the app. I don't have the full plan mapped out but know I would need to make changes for the Apple review if I go that route.

@reiver Hey there! This is super interesting, and I’m definitely going to check it out. I actually woke up this morning planning to work on fediverse integration issues since comments and boosts weren’t going through, so this is very timely. Thanks for sharing it. I’ll let you know what I find once I’ve had a chance to dig in.
