Oh shit…I guess it is Tuesday now. I went to bed early on sunday night, but couldn’t sleep much. gave up on trying to sleep and got out of bed at 4:00am and I’ve been awake until now.
No matter how bad my day is, I come home and my cat Scruffy curls up next to me. He will be by my side until I leave for work the next day. 😻

Watching my dog frolic in absolute joy at the dog park. It was only his 3rd time going and I have been apprehensive since these places can always be a mixed bag with whatever dogs/owners are there at the time.
He did prove to me though that his recall training works pretty well and hopefully we’ve gained each others trust. He really loves socializing and playing with other dogs and seems to know how to adapt to the play style of whatever hound he’s engaged with. Going to try and make it a weekly thing

I smiled looking in the mirror at my reflection. I used to think I was ugly as a teenager. I think I look cute now. At least I know my looks aren’t the reason I’m alone.
Met a ten year old who is waaaay better than me at video games, and he only gets to play on Friday evenings. The kids are alright.
