He was, but probably moved their when it became clear that Bluesky was the winner of the 2022 Twitter exodus. At least for the time being.

Well before Bluesky his mastodon posts were mirror of his twitter posts.
He doesn’t interact with people on mastodon.
Prodigy was a series for kids that adults could watch. I like to think this is a series for teens and young adults that adults can watch.
Lemmy needs a Victoria. I wonder of Victoria would be keen to fill the role?
She was so darn good!
Lemmy is arguably more Star Trek than Reddit. It only makes sense.
Wait. Is there an LCARS lemmy frontend? We could really use that.
this isnt the cesspool, we can clean up for him
Interpreted the Betazed as being analogous to bipolar. I interpreted the peaceful vs war schools to be representations of contrasting political parties. There’s so many more options now and short attention spans are being rewarded. Im happy to give the show time to grow its Riker beard.
People love to criticize the marketplace of ideas and sure it’s imperfect… but what’s he alternative?
Ban Zionists and Nazis and Fascist from all aspects of the public sphere.
Sure, if you have total power over the media ecosystem. But we don’t.
So the question has to be asked–are you banning Zionism from the public square or simply exiling anti Zionism into a small echo-chamber where no one will hear it anymore and Zionism will go unchallenged? This is my problem with this approach.
https://hexbear.net/api/v3/site has a list of them as json.

Another user mentioned that feddit.org may have been consistently censoring anti-Zionist voices. If that’s true it would make this a lot more reasonable in my view. However the post doesn’t seem to explicitly make this claim, so I am curious if it’s true.
Maybe… this is where I guess the instance rules get in the way because I’d like to know what exactly that looks like. Because it’s well known that communists and others tried to violently resist the Nazis in the lead up to the third reich. So you’d have to articulate how your strategy was different from what was tried and failed.
My reading of history is that sporadic violence is a very ineffective anti-fascist tactic.
the shun is collective. the re-education is something the person being shunned must participate in as part of the collective in order to no longer be shunned
Well what you’re bringing up now is a very nuanced discussion. nuanced and possibly even subjective. but my take, reeducation as a concept surely don’t remind me of anything ethical in real world history. it also still reminds me of a carceral system, just a differently short-sighted one. i can’t imagine a crime befitting of reeducation either, i mean let’s talk about bigotry for instance. how far do you go trying to avoid shunning a bigot before you’re just doing them the favour of giving them people to abuse? how would you teach a bigot out of bigotry, in this scenario they’re already living in a world without the systems that cultivate an environment of bigotry yet they persist. they’re beyond help as far as i’m concerned. and as i just mentioned, a lot of crime happens out of necessity because of being left behind by capitalism. i at least don’t think crimes againat humanity are worthy of mercy of any sort.
